The mission of HCO is to be of service to our fellow man by providing caring, compassionate, and competent services in a cost-effective manner that exceeds our customer's needs and expectations. We ensure that all clients and their families are treated with a high level of respect, integrity, and professionalism. Our staff is trained in mental health and substance abuse to give each client the highest quality of care. The program incorporates the three fundamentals to establish a balanced life: mind, body, and spirit. We provide: Community-Based Mental Health Counseling, Community Psychiatric Support & Treatment (CPST), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Medication Management, Crisis Services, Psychotherapy, Intensive Outpatient Program, Dual-Diagnosis Program
Community Psychiatric Support & Treatment: We provide comprehensive service that focuses on reducing the disability resulting from mental illness, restoring functional skills of daily living, building natural supports, and solution-oriented interventions intended to achieve identified goals.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation: We provide PSR services to our clients to assist them with compensating for or eliminating functional deficits and interpersonal and/or environmental barriers associated with mental illness.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): We provide treatment of addiction disorders and mental illness in adults, age 18 years and above (and adolescents on a case-to-case basis), through an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). HCO Behavioral Health's evidenced-based programs includes services such as individual, group, family, couples counseling and psycho-education on recovery and wellness, as determined by the needs of each individual client.
Outpatient Program (OP): OP designed for clients who have established consistency in their ability to engage in recovery practices and have maintained their sobriety effectively for some time. The OP level of care is a necessary step for most clients who have completed the IOP level of care, as well as those that do not need our highest level of care. OP consists of one group per week and individual sessions with a substance abuse counselor as needed.
Dual Diagnosis Program: This program has the unique ability to treat every aspect of addiction. Addiction is not always “just addiction.” In many cases there are other factors that accompany addiction. Addressing these factors while addressing addiction is imperative to long term recovery. We understand the importance of treating the whole person, which includes addressing co-occurring disorders concurrently with substance abuse and/or addiction.
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): The ACT services we provide are community-based therapeutic interventions that address the functional barriers who have the most complex conditions associated with serious mental illness.
