Baton Roots Community Farm is a four-acre farm at BREC’s Howell Park that brings our city together to grow food. Fresh fruits & vegetables are grown by the community for the community.

LSU Health & Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System

The Geaux Get Healthy Clinical Program at Our Lady of the Lake run by LSU Health Sciences Center provides ongoing cooking classes and nutritional support to eligible participants in two locations.

Three O’clock Project

Three O’clock Project partners with schools, after school organizations, food vendors and local communities to provide healthy meals, education and advocacy at little to no cost.

Top Box Foods

Top Box offers door-to-door grocery delivery and provides a dollar-for-dollar SNAP match and online EBT ordering and support for Food is Medicine programs in a variety of clinics.

YMCA of the Capital Area

The YMCA offers a strong and connected community for exercise, sports, summer camps, nutrition support, health screenings and more.
